The Regional Directorate of the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports for the province of Tangier-Assilah announced the resumption of in-person classes in all public and private educational institutions, starting tomorrow, Saturday, February 7, 2026, following the improvement of conditions that allowed for the normal functioning of the educational process.
A press release issued by the Directorate today, Friday, February 6, 2026, clarified that this decision comes into effect in implementation of the recommendations of the Regional Vigilance Committee, in continuous coordination with local authorities, and in order to ensure the continuation of the school year in suitable and safe conditions for the benefit of students.
The Regional Directorate affirmed that its departments, along with administrative and educational staff, have taken the necessary measures to receive learners and ensure their return to classrooms in an atmosphere conducive to academic achievement, while continuing to monitor the situation of educational institutions and weather developments.
